Anzac Street Bistro also has three delightful en-suite bedrooms and offers bed and breakfast accommodation all year round and booking is highly recommended…

We are a small establishment with three large Georgian double bedrooms, both are en-suite and have plenty of room to unwind and relax in comfort. One room also has a sofa bed to create a family room for three. There is also a cot available on request.

Breakfast

Start with cereal, and a selection of tea, coffee & juice. Followed by a choice from our breakfast menu, for example full English breakfast, vegetarian breakfast, continental breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. (Some choices will require ordering the night before.)

Two nights including one 3 course meal to 255.00 High season 245.00 low season on the front room & room 3. The family room meal deal is priced at 265.00 High season & 255.00 low season.
If you want to stay for more than three nights we are happy to discuss special rates.

Check in & check out

Arrival 1pm-3pm or 6pm-9pm Tuesday – Saturday. We can be flexible on checkin time please ask if you are unable to check in during those times.

Sunday & Monday check in is between 12pm-1.00pm. We can be flexible on checkin time please ask if you are unable to check in during those times.

Check out 10.30am

If you wish to check out later, we can be flexibel up to 12.00pm the extra for this service is 20.00. Please let us know in advance.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%. Payment Cash, Cheque, Debit card or Credit card (not American express).

We would also like guests to know that if they are approaching Dartmouth via the ferry the last ferry is 10.45pm or it is a 1 hour drive around via Totnes.

Our Terms

We are unable to accept any pets with the exception of guide dogs. We are a non smoking establishment, smoking in the bedrooms is forbidden and if there is evidence of smoking we have no choice but to charge £100.00. This is due to the damage caused, cleaning & health & safety regulations. We hold the room with a non refundable 20% deposit. If you cancel less than 14 days before we will have no option but charge you for the entire stay.

Parking Permit & bus ticket

Unfortunately the local council charge for parking permit replacements. If this permit is lost or stolen, it is the responsibility of the customer using the permit to replace it. This is also includes the detachable bus ticket. It is rare that a permit is lost and they are very safe if they are kept inside the car.

Cancellation by Us

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Should you wish to, we will attempt to book you into another local bed and breakfast of the same or lower Visit Britain grading in a similar standard of room(s). Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.

Change of Room

If a booking is taken out for a specific room and the room reserved is rendered unusable via circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative room.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do charge for breakages, we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

Data

Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking may be held on computer. We would like to hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers. If you would prefer us not to hold this information please let us know.

Keys

You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at £10.00 per set.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a minimum charge of £5.00 to cover postage and packaging.

Missing Items

We reserve the right to charge for missing items.
